Agender Auckland is affiliated to Agender New Zealand. The Agender groups around New Zealand have been formed to give Transgendered people* and their families a place to seek advice, meet others socially and most of all to give or receive support. *Transgendered includes Crossdressers, Transsexuals (both MtF and FtM) Intersex, Gender Queer and others. Agender Auckland was founded by a small group of Transsexuals and Crossdressers because they felt that Auckland could do with another support / social group for crossdressers who wanted a quiet secure venue to use on a regular basis. Some CD’s are unable to get out and about dressed because of various reasons but with our venue in Auckland which, is in a quiet street with parking people can turn up and transform on site so to speak without the problems of driving to the venue dressed.We are trying to provide a place where shy CD’s can bring out their feminine side and work on their style before plucking up the courage to go out in to the wider public world. Other members of our group are available to give advice and support on the meeting nights.
